Eyeball Pong: Free Printable Halloween Party Game (Rules + Iris Wraps + Scorecard)
Beer pong walked so Halloween party games could run. Eyeball Pong takes the classic cup-triangle toss game and adds printable eyeball “iris” wraps that turn plain ping-pong balls into staring, bloodshot eyeballs. It’s the rare party game that works for a kids’ table and the grown-ups’ table — you just change what’s in the cups.
Below is the full kit: the supplies list, six printable iris wrap designs, the rules card, the scoring system, and a printable scorecard — all written out so you can print this page and play tonight. It’s free. At the end I’ll point you to the designed bundle in our Etsy shop.
What Is Eyeball Pong?
Two teams, a table, cups arranged in triangles, and players take turns tossing or bouncing eyeball-wrapped ping-pong balls into the other team’s cups. Land one, the cup’s out. First team to clear the other side’s cups wins. The Halloween twist is pure presentation: dim lights and a table full of staring eyeballs.

What You Need
- 12–20 plastic cups (orange and black if you can find them; plain white works and the eyeballs pop against it).
- Ping-pong balls — 4–6 is plenty. White ones take the wraps best.
- The printable iris wraps below — print, cut, and tape around the balls.
- A long table — a folding table or dining table, about 6–8 feet long.
- Cup fillings: for kids, a splash of apple juice or just water plus a candy prize per sunk cup; for adults, whatever your crowd drinks.
- Paper towels. Trust me.
- The printed scorecard below — one per match.
The Printable Eyeball Iris Wraps
Each wrap is a strip about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide — long enough to circle a ping-pong ball at its equator. Print on regular paper, cut the strips out, wrap one around each ball, and secure with clear tape. Draw the iris design on the strip before wrapping — it’s much easier flat.
EYEBALL IRIS WRAPS — CUT ALONG THE LINES
(Each strip wraps once around a ping-pong ball. Draw the iris in the center box before wrapping.)
WRAP 1 — BLOODSHOT: draw a large round iris (brown or green), then add thin red lines radiating outward like cracked veins.
WRAP 2 — CAT EYE: draw a tall narrow vertical pupil (like a cat’s), with a golden-yellow iris around it.
WRAP 3 — ZOMBIE: draw a cloudy gray-white iris with a tiny off-center black pupil. Smudge it a little. Zombies aren’t precise.
WRAP 4 — HYPNO-SWIRL: draw a black spiral starting at the center and winding outward. Stare at it too long and you’ll miss your shot.
WRAP 5 — MONSTER: draw a huge iris that takes up the whole strip, bright red, with a slit pupil. This one is for intimidation.
WRAP 6 — GLOW EYES: draw a plain white iris with a black pupil, then trace over everything with a glow-in-the-dark marker or highlighter. Charge under a lamp for a minute — they glow on a dim table.
Pro tip: make two balls per design so teams can tell their throws apart, or give each team its own design. “The Bloodshots versus the Cat Eyes” is a rivalry that writes itself.

The Rules Card (Print This and Read It Out Loud)
- Split into two teams of 1–3 players each. Each team arranges 6 cups in a triangle at their end of the table, point facing the other team.
- Teams take turns. On your turn, your team gets two throws (one per player if you have two players, or two throws for a solo player).
- You may toss the eyeball directly into a cup, or bounce it off the table first. A bounced shot that lands counts double — but the other team may swat a bounced ball away mid-air.
- If your eyeball lands in a cup, that cup is removed from the table. Kids’ version: the throwing team also wins the candy that was next to the cup.
- No leaning. Elbows must stay behind your team’s end of the table when you throw. Enforce this ruthlessly; someone always tries.
- Re-rack once per game: when a team is down to 3 cups, they may rearrange them into a tight triangle.
- First team to clear all of the other team’s cups wins the match. Losers re-rack for the next challengers, tournament-style.
Scoring
For a single casual game, you don’t need points — last cup standing wins. But for a tournament night, use this:
- Direct toss into a cup: 1 point, cup removed.
- Bounce shot into a cup: 2 points, cup removed. (The swat rule applies — a bounced ball can be blocked.)
- Three cups cleared in one turn (both throws land, one of them a bounce): Eyeball Bonus — 5 points total for the turn and the table erupts.
- Match win: 10 bonus points on the scorecard.
The Printable Scorecard
One scorecard per match. The scorekeeper marks each sunk cup and tallies at the end.

Variations for Different Crowds
Kids’ table (ages 5+): Use 4 cups per side instead of 6, let them stand closer, and put a wrapped candy beside each cup — sink the cup, keep the candy. Bounce shots count the same as tosses; nobody needs the swat rule at this age.
Classroom version: Cups filled with nothing but air, balls tossed into cups on the floor from a taped line. Quiet, contained, and the eyeball wraps make it feel like a real event.
Hosting Tips I Learned the Hard Way
- Tape the cups down. A tiny loop of tape under each cup stops the whole triangle sliding every time a ball rattles the table.
- Keep spare eyeballs ready. Wrapped balls get lost under furniture at an alarming rate. Make six, expect to finish with three.
- Shorten the table for kids. Let them throw from halfway — everybody has more fun.
- Dim the lights for the final match. If you made the Glow Eyes wraps, kill the overheads for the championship round. The table full of glowing eyeballs gets an actual gasp every time.
