Christmas Bingo Printable: Free Cards, Calling Sheets, and Game Night Ideas

Christmas bingo is the easiest party game you will ever host. There is nothing to learn, nothing to set up beyond printing, and players from age five to ninety-five can play side by side. Print the cards, cut out the calling slips, hand out markers, and you have an instant party.

Below you will find everything you need to run a full game: how to play, a complete set of bingo words, a calling list, and fun variations to keep the game fresh round after round.

How to Play Christmas Bingo

Each player gets a bingo card and a pile of markers — wrapped candies, coins, buttons, or crayons all work. The caller draws one word at a time from a bowl and reads it aloud. Players mark that square on their card. The first player to complete a full row, column, or diagonal shouts “Bingo!” and wins the round.

Before you start, agree on the winning pattern. A single line is fastest and best for young kids. Four corners, a picture frame, or a full blackout card make later rounds more challenging. A classic game takes about 15 minutes, so plan three or four rounds for a full game night.

Your Christmas Bingo Words

Use these 24 words plus a FREE center square to build your cards. Mix the order on every card so no two players have the same layout.

Santa Claus | Christmas Tree | Candy Cane | Snowman | Reindeer | Stocking | Gingerbread | Mistletoe | Elf | Wreath | Ornament | Jingle Bells | Hot Cocoa | Snowflake | Gift Box | Star | Angel | Carol Singer | Sleigh | North Pole | Poinsettia | Tinsel | Fireplace | Holly

Calling List (Cut These Out)

Print this list, cut it into slips, and fold them into a bowl or a Santa hat. The caller draws one slip at a time.

Santa Claus, Christmas Tree, Candy Cane, Snowman, Reindeer, Stocking, Gingerbread, Mistletoe, Elf, Wreath, Ornament, Jingle Bells, Hot Cocoa, Snowflake, Gift Box, Star, Angel, Carol Singer, Sleigh, North Pole, Poinsettia, Tinsel, Fireplace, Holly.

Make Your Own Cards in Minutes

Draw a five-by-five grid on a sheet of paper or card stock. Write FREE in the center square. Fill the other 24 squares with the words above in a random order. Make one card per player, and shuffle the word order on each card. If you are short on time, let kids decorate their own cards with crayons before the game — the decorating becomes part of the party.

For a classroom or office party, print a blank grid for everyone and read the words aloud as players fill in their own cards. It takes five extra minutes and guarantees every card is unique.

Fun Variations to Try

Picture Bingo for Little Kids

For children who cannot read yet, draw simple pictures instead of words: a tree, a star, a candy cane, a snowman. Call out the pictures by name and let kids match the drawings.

Christmas Movie Bingo

Play a favorite holiday movie and use a card filled with things to spot: someone says “Merry Christmas,” a snowball fight, a gift being wrapped, a fireplace scene. First to a full line wins.

Speed Bingo

Call two words at a time and set a 30-second timer per round. It is chaotic, loud, and perfect for older kids and adults who want a faster game.

Prize Bingo

Every winner picks a small wrapped prize from a prize basket. Stock it with candy, mini ornaments, and silly stocking stuffers so everyone wants to keep playing.

Hosting Tips

Use a Santa hat as your calling bowl, play carols in the background, and keep a second set of markers handy — someone always runs out. For large groups, appoint two callers who take turns so the game keeps moving. And always have a tiebreaker ready: if two players call bingo at once, the first to name Santa’s reindeer in order wins.
