Halloween Trick or Treat Passport Printable: Stamp Pages + Safety Page
A Little Booklet for the Biggest Night of the Year
A trick-or-treat passport turns the night into a journey. Instead of a bag that fills up and a route nobody remembers, each child carries a small folded booklet, and every stop earns a stamp, a sticker, or a signature. At the end of the night, the passport is the souvenir: which houses had the best decorations, who gave out full-size bars, and what the best costume of the night was.
This page gives you the passport pages written out, the folding instructions, the safety page, and a candy log. Print this page, fold it, and stamp it all night.
What You Need
One printed passport per child, on card stock if possible
Scissors and a stapler, or a single fold for the simple version
Stickers, stamps, or pens for marking each stop
A pen or pencil for the candy log
Reflective tape or a glow bracelet per child for visibility
Optional: a small bag for the passport, so it survives the night
How to Fold the Passport
Print the pages below on one sheet, front and back, then fold the sheet in half to make a booklet. The cover goes on the outside, the stamp pages in the middle, and the safety page and candy log at the back. If you do not want to print double-sided, print two sheets, stack them, fold them together, and staple along the fold. Write the child’s name on the cover before you leave, because passports look alike in the dark.

Stamping the Passport at Trunk-or-Treat Events Too
The passport works just as well at a trunk-or-treat event as it does on a neighborhood route. Instead of houses, each decorated car trunk becomes a stop, and the trunk’s owner stamps or stickers the passport. Trunk hosts love the idea, because it gives children a reason to stop, look at the decorations, and talk to them, instead of rushing past with a bag. If you are hosting a trunk, keep a stamp pad or a sheet of stickers ready, and write a short note in the passport’s stamp box, like “Best trunk on the row,” which children read aloud to their parents all the way home. For schools running a trunk-or-treat, print the passport with the school’s name on the cover, and the booklet doubles as a keepsake from the event.
Tips for a Great Night
Plan the route before you leave, and mark the houses you most want to visit. Bring a spare pen, because the first one always runs out. Take a photo of the passport at the end of the night, because the paper version rarely survives until morning. And if a house has no stamp or sticker, a quick drawing in the box counts just as well, because the passport is about the journey, not the ink.
