A Party Classic With a Fang-Tastic Twist Every party has that one game everyone already knows how to play — and that’s exactly why it works. Pin the Fangs on the Vampire takes the classic blindfold game you grew up with and gives it a Halloween upgrade: instead of a tail on a donkey, your…
March the Costumes, Cheer the Crowd A costume contest asks people to stand still and be judged. A costume parade asks them to move — and that’s why it’s better. A Halloween costume parade turns the whole neighborhood, classroom, or party into a runway: music playing, costumes on display, everyone marching in line while the…
Wrap the Pins, Roll the Ball, Knock Down the Mummies Bowling is fun. Mummy bowling is bowling with a costume on. You take ten empty bottles, wrap them in white streamers until they look like mummies, stand them up in a triangle, and roll a ball at them. The pins wobble, the streamers flutter, and…
Settle the Pumpkin Spice Debate for Good Some people count down to pumpkin spice season. Others insist it all tastes the same. A pumpkin spice taste test game settles the argument the only honest way: blindfolded, with a scorecard, and with everyone tasting the same lineup. No labels, no brand loyalty, no “I only drink…
Match the Monsters, Empty Your Hand Dominoes is one of those games everyone thinks they know — until you take away the dots and replace them with pictures. Halloween picture dominoes works exactly like the classic game, except you match a pumpkin to a pumpkin, a ghost to a ghost, and a bat to a…

It’s part scavenger hunt, part hide-and-seek, and it has one unbeatable advantage — eyeballs are creepy,…
Close Your Eyes and Guess the Fright Most Halloween games ask you to look at something. This one asks you to listen. A spooky sounds guessing game plays 20 creepy sounds — a creaking door, a wolf’s howl, a witch’s cackle — and your guests write down what they think each sound is. No pictures,…
Sweep, Race, Pass the Broom A broomstick relay race is the kind of game that looks easy and falls apart immediately, which is exactly why it’s so much fun. Each team gets a broom, each player takes a turn racing through a little obstacle course while “riding” the broom, and then passes it to the…
Sixty Seconds. One Tower. Zero Mercy. Candy corn stacking sounds easy until you try it. The pieces are small, they’re triangular, they’re not all the same size, and they have a habit of sliding off each other at the worst possible moment. Give someone sixty seconds, a pile of candy corn, and a flat plate,…
Toss the Ring, Top the Hat Some party games are complicated. This one isn’t: stand behind a line, toss a ring, and try to land it on a witch hat. A witch hat ring toss game is the kind of game that runs itself — guests drift over, take a turn, check the leaderboard, and…
